I'm going to admit about one of my bias:

There are times when I write and when I've written in the past certain things that I write out of negative bias to East Asian (more specifically Sinospheric) culture.

I feel compelled to bring out my criticism to it partly b/c of the positive sterotyping I see of it that goes unheeded and with nigh a drop of true questioning b/c of what I think (or at least what I've gotten to see in my life) is a social desirability bias to accepting anything/having to feel compelled to like whatever is done in Sinospheric culture and letting it fly/be done.

I have said before for my own private audio-logs,I said this to my siblings and both those times it got to the point of angry rants which might've been expressed to my Race and ethnic dynamics teachers had we had more time when after class ended early in the semester I talked about this to her on her way back to her office as the day ended.What she said though was to the effect of "everything comes down (importantly) to the 'vertical mosaic' " though ..:[ *sigh* I wish I could've found way more times to bring this thinking process I have my problems with.A takeaway though?, ..sometimes I honestly think that ..

An uncomfortable/private part of my mind goes "East Asian (more specifically Sinospheric ppl have won the 'white man's heart' over as a respectable 'race' (social sciences knows that no such biological definition exists ""-_-) b/c

-paralleling history of social exploitation and stratification

-xenophobia..God that needs alterations ""-w- ..that s---- is old

-let individual go strutting around "thinking your all that"--refer to paragraph 2 and in the case of white European colonization....there's prob.a few other things I regrettably have forgotten to mention.

You wanna no another *one* reason why there should no longer be any of that "I think this 'race' (**ethnicity ""=_=**) is superior" bullc---p?.B/c God forbid that it ever goes down that the article on White privilege in the "Unequal Relations 7th edition" by Augie Fleras and Jeam Leonard Elliot,pg.50-ish "Whiteness matters:racializing whiteness as race privilege" article ever becomes an article with added details titled "[x]ness matters:racializing [x] as race privilege" substituted by ANY other groups whether South Asian,Polynesian,Black,"Latino" or East Asian as I worry ppl (notably seen by my friggin Generation Y) are letting it becoming.You dumb a---h---s ">_< >8( !.Cut that .b.s. out,PLEASE!.^1

(self-flattering or self-narcissism.. imagining myself saying this stuff with the voice John Travolta did for his "From Paris with Love" and "Taking of Pelham 123" voices to add more attention grabbing compellingness.. God I can be an absorbed a---h--- when it comes to how I imagine myself being presented as..)

And sort of how like there's the saying "the right kind of White" which implicatively means Northern Europeans like Germanic language speakers in regions like Germany,Scandinavia and the non-Continental European countries--the .U.K.,Republic of Ireland AND Iceland^2 most ppl unwittingly go with a thinking for the East Asian automatically=only Sinospheric cultures, which I don't really think would take a shift in change seen even if poplation density lowered.

From what I've seen your less often to get answers of "Myanmar/Burma,Malaysia,Cambodia, Thailand,Indonesia" instead of "China,Japan,Korea and Vietnam",b/c in the days of centuries past of being tributary states to the empire, the former sequence of countries were NOT exempt from being called "southern barbarian kingdoms" "-_- by China,exact.

And even when ppl think Chinese what'll likely come to mind is a picture of characteristically Han Chinese person who makes of one of the 92% mainland population,specifically in like 20+ provinces in the EastNot Inner Mongolia(ns (?)),Manchurians or the added annexiations of Tibet's Tibetans or the Uighurs in Xinjiang^3.

and goodness knows how I've seen how confused ppl are when it comes to Filipinos the history of how Spanish implemented "castas" particulary was pulled off there in a region that was already fairly diverse, ethnically,enough so that they start wondering whether there "Pacific Islanders"

..ah,at least someone claims Paluans,Samoans and aboriginal Hawaiians are "(East) Asians", PLEASE **DO NOT** feel hesitant to cite the Austronesian migrations from continental Asian that happened **10,000** years^4 AND >8I PULL OUT A GLOBE to see how clearly far off it is from continental Asian to start discussing how geographically distant you have to be for the label "(East) Asian" to be inaccurate.

One such example of an aspect of East Asian culture that I have issues with is (mainly spurred by J-pop culture fans) maid cafes popping up in the States.Grief,-_- to think that women will actually purposely dress like stereotypical turn of the century French maids makes...-~- feel like it'd be regressive to the treatment of women to go to one.Similar feeling is what I have for the male staffed "butler cafes".

SCREW having power over others (people)!.SCREW IT when ppl esp.purposely do the "master and subversive one" .b.s.!.

Let there be no doubt that there's more from the negative rut I can say,but I wanted to act on the positive style of suggestions of what things could be.

God above,please give let me be more in sync with the knowledge to understand the exception fallacy

-drawing conclusions about an entire group based on observations of individuals (-~- like cocky a---h--- all throughout non-tertiary schooling)

or the ecological/ecological inference fallacy

-drawing conclusions about individual attributes from data gathered from an entire group (for which I dont happen b/c of the a--h--- giving off the vibe of the exception fallacy)

for the greater glory of your wondrous creation,my enrichment and the enrichment of other which is before a following of alleviating mis-,dis- and being uninformed.

B/c hey our mistake prone human nature is complex but also dreadfully simple (+stupid) in various instances

Like anything I write on this site of course,anyone who feels something about what I write please have no reluctance to embrace to express what you think about what I think and I'll gladly get back to ya.

^1 The tools for a "peaceful-ish" (I know why I f---n need to quote marks on that -_-) global societial mileau of sustainability,localism with democracy and impartial co-operation (b/c that racial superiority b.s. went f----n obsolete) are there.The "ingredients"..they *can* be made actualized.To grow the ingredients?,a lifting of consciousness of the scale of whole regions.A needed presence in the list of things prerequiste for the ingreidient to grow?:individual inaction and self-forgetfulness to act on a/o embrace certain practices and/or constructs that in the long-run (for which it is a duty/task for the least "primitive" parts of our brain but mostly for the most "advanced"/recent parts?) of planning are ingredients for harmful deeds and actions to life,human,biological and beyond.

^4 Making it as big a mistake,to say there (East) Asians as much as it's a mistake to call the Aborginal ppl on the American continents (even phenotypically similar ppl like Inuit ppl) who left continental Asian at some estimates of ~40,000-~15,000 years ago.
