On the one hand we have a herb that is mostly safe past aged 21 especially if eaten instead of
Inhaled. However here in the UK we have concerned citizens who don't want pot overload in their neighborhood. Also many parents can wind up giving their children stress whilst smoking weed and in the hormone field of a teenager it can be a bad mix.
Simply accepting the status quo is not very optimal. So if you were to legalise pot then you might want to do the job sensibly. Britain tried decriminalisation it didn't alleviate many people's concern, Britain called for a vote on legalisation and voted slightly against it in a rushed through way where the dealers were bribing the users not to vote this also has not resolved people's concerns over the issue.
If it was legal we could choose sensible options. Like a 21 age restriction, special discreate smoking spots in commercial and community zones for both tobacco and cannabis smoking. Making it illegal to smoke indoors where children live and promoting vaping bud over smoking it although if your living in the same place as a child you should not be able to vape or smoke THC or nicotean Indoors.
Also THC bud should only be marketable by small holders with 10 or less plants blocking industrial scale sales of both legitimate and illegitimate production this means little people can continue to make money off THC cannabis and both sell it interpersonally or via a licensed shop. I think there could still be tweaking on the issue and I don't think people either side of the fence should have to put up with the status quo.
