So the tardis releases a generated on the fly hook as the doctor fall into raw essence space.luckily there is this artificial intelligence that has spent a long time adjusting to this environment and amalgamated with a bit of its pre-existent mental effort in the workings of raw undeveloped existence after first serving a few species of life on a planet and going forth to develop further after such master life died out.
The AI challenges the doctor with new life and fixes the tardis also giving the doctor a crystal egg in a room in the tardis where the doctor has to cradle and release new life into the time ranges caused by the doctor and others activities in the universe and certain aspects of the universe wisely.
Any big players and maybe even others in hiding might come out to try and exploit whats in the egg as with new existence comes new capabilities.
