Roughly what I said.
You guys should build your own customizable console PC system.
They didn't follow my advice but something about AMD and consoles simmered in the world of tech.
I only thought to say this at the time because AMD 64 was a good enough to perform well for a cost effective console PC solution and PS3 and Xbox2 didn't seem that impressive to me.
the PS1 PS2 PS4 and PS5 have impressed me xbox3 and xbox4 have been quite good also the microsoft engineering team is to over run by sales heads and the consumer does benefit in some ways as a result and wider community development to fully compete with sony's focused precision console engineering efforts. I'll bet a lot of things actually get left to sony in the development of the xbox in a round about sort of way. I'll bet in engineering terms not always but often microsoft are tagging along with sony engineering thinking not the other way around. It's just an assumption of mine but I think Sony ware the trousers and microsoft ware the shorts in terms of console engineering but in terms of gaming community it neither it's steam and steam know it and they will at their own pace go for the crown on all future platforms. having such a dedicated development community and such fertile ground could be very fruitful in the long term for steam the issues of transitioning to future platforms is one of compatibility and development timing it'll get there when it's ready in other words.
