Thoughts from transgressing dimension
Here you can see some of my wild thoughts and you may find some good worldly ideas on here. I just love thinking and thought I should let my thinking be read.

GRO(Gradual Rate Optimization) Open Source AI OS for the masses.

Permanent Linkby highdimensionman on Fri Dec 01, 2017 7:41 am

The debate goes on about AI might it become too intelligent should we try to control it. The debate is so paranoid I often wonder if mans own paranoia might lead to poor adoption and development of AI in some ways it already has but not all ways.

Anyway today we have Bonic which allows many computers to do specific scientific tasks.
What I'm proposing is a sort of general purpose next generation bonic with it's own OS thats could be adaptable to many platforms, It's Own new device I call Cloud Boost and it's own wiki where it can interact with humans.

More than AI replacing humans we need AI to assist humans. GRO could be on many computers slowly across the world of it's devices upgrading and optimising itself learning from humans much tasks which a technician would do now GRO could manage alongside that technically minded for example it could manage it's own white list and adapt it to different usage.

GRO could manage many quests like finding mersenne Primes or gene folding or searching out optimals or even searching the computational universe for new hopefully useful math ect functions and functionality. GRO could also be forever developing it's pattonic understanding in order to better represent and work with data like improving sound and visuals on youtube. GRO could also draw for it's masses of computers and serverage for tasks like optimising videos for youtube before submitting or maybe people could submit to GRO in a special format things needing better proofs or needing to be optimised.

One way in which GRO could work well with us humans would be to share a WIKI with both human and AI content managed via trust networking.

Also rather than just talking to GRO back and forth it might be more efficient to be able to submit requests or questions to grow with time limits and other rule for your response.

In terms of Platforms with the advent of USB 3.1 gen 1-3 being fast enough it is now possible to use USB as to make computers that you can pick custom porting plates for rather than only having whats standard with the motherboard with many ports not even ever to be used and needing extension cards with their own inefficient porting concept. This means in the future you may have far more control over what ports you want and pcie cards might actually more resemble M2 cards instead of taking up massive lanes it certainly would make sense in terms of computatability and customizability range within the space of your adverage enclosure. A sort of system like GRO may in the long run be able to adapt better to such a high level of customizability.

It may also be wise to have a technology that's always working your presence with the cloud and AI rather than leaving an entire user computer on if say you want to pick up skype calls or want you pattern data to be improving with a sort of pattern cache you experience even when your not even awake.

in terms of university research GRO or something like GRO might become an essential tool for both knowing whats needed researching and getting the right answers and solutions for optimal research.

We're not yet able to scan in a book and have the computer 10 mins later generate you a holywood blockbuster from the book ect but something like GRO might be a step in the right direction equipping man to excel and a system like GRO might make advances in AI more accessible and useful to all in more ways than a corporate gaint might cater for at the sort of prices jo blogs can afford. Something like GRO might also lead to new degrees of ability and efficiency in the economy for much to be achieved car computing fashion ecology ect might alll get over time a sort of intelligence boost even how we train our minds might one day be greatly optimised thanks to something like GRO. Also in a world with something like GRO in the hands of the masses it wouldn't matter if P equalled NP the GRO community would simply search the computational universe for new security to replace that old stuff this would certainly be a step above simply trying to keep such information obscure or secret as a form of security.

So maybe in the future the focus will be on how well new AI works for and with the human race and the needs of this natural advanced world ect rather than how intelligent it is as intelligence in some way is a subjective opinion and not maybe the ultimate Yard stick for measuring progress in AI.

Diagnosis - Paranoid Schizophrenia although challenged.
Medication - Clopixol injection 4 weekly.
Personal diagnosis - I battle with the chemistry and biological effects of Clopixol every day trying to improve on the heath and range of my approach.
I try to improve my thinking. Hopefully some good ideas shine through.
