Is there a sort of peak humans kinda like peak oil.

is there a point where it gets so costly in terms of life to extend the population in terms of human workings such that human population peaks.
Say like 7.9 - 8.7 billion
If So is there some sort of magic number relative to earths size where humans can do really well more so.
Say like 7.1 - 7.5 billion
Say like there's a number below where progress starts to get a lot less efficient.
say like below 3.8 - 6.9 billion.
Of what sort of earth population and density would you want your great great grand children to be in that is the question.

Diagnosis - Paranoid Schizophrenia although challenged.
Medication - Clopixol injection 4 weekly.
Personal diagnosis - I battle with the chemistry and biological effects of Clopixol every day trying to improve on the heath and range of my approach.
I try to improve my thinking. Hopefully some good ideas shine through.
