Thoughts from transgressing dimension
Here you can see some of my wild thoughts and you may find some good worldly ideas on here. I just love thinking and thought I should let my thinking be read.

Why you can't see whats in your mind with your external view.

Permanent Linkby highdimensionman on Fri Jul 22, 2022 6:59 am

When you are looking outwards to the world you see a world of 2D surfaces on 3d bodies. When you look into your mind you are looking from the depths of a full 3D body not merely at the surface effects. Therefore you could use AI to tune the mind to see a full 4D view of 5D spacetime not just a surface view. So yes your mind can perceive a dimension up better than your eyes can see a dimension up potentially but it would require a different stimulus and training.

Time as an extra geometric dimension why we can perceive it.

Funny enough it's not hard to point out how to view 2d space time 1D space 1D time. it would simple be a dynamically coloured line which transition's up along a 2d plane. So you could view it as a 2d picture.
3D spacetime 2 geometric dimensions and 1 time dimension or 1 geometric dimension and 2 time dimensions can be view as a 2d picture changing across time in our 4d space we could not view this spacetime in a single picture in a single point in time.
If we lived in 5D space time 4 geometric dimensions and 1 dimension of time you could view 3d spacetime completely as a 3d hyper surface where you can see the full 3d body on a surface and it would help a lot in properly mapping time to video data and game data.
We could possibly do analytics in the future modelling off the shadow imprinted by a 3d hyper surface as to improve our understanding of 3d spacetime and maybe even 4d or 5d spacetime even spacetime's which have more than one time dimension.

Next gen arm idea

Permanent Linkby highdimensionman on Sat Jul 16, 2022 8:09 pm

4*1tb SD micro express near ram and CPU. 1.6nm gate all around, immortalis g715 GPU with extended AI cores for the mini desktop being plugged into the mains. Six Core A715 CPU cores 2 A510 cores. One SATA port and a connected blue ray xr half size drive.
It would make a decent spec system especially for higher quality upscaling between 800 p to 1200p with mid range upscaling from 1200 p to 1600p then very basic upscaling to 4k.
It would also be watt efficient both because it's ARM and the energy savings using SD micro express instead of M2.
18gb lpddr5 with turbo
2GB eco ram
1 GB single SD card eco swap and 36 GB eco cache.
5 GB standard swap
Steam and a good few companies offering boards.
AV1 mpeg5 and h266 with full HDR 120 Hz 4K

Low usage mode on the mini pc

Permanent Linkby highdimensionman on Sat Jul 16, 2022 1:18 am

ARM64 plus single 3d 2d and audio codec GPU acceleration.
When you are not doing much it can load files more from a cache on one of the SD cards 4*256gb.
The space usage does not take up the full space 920gb for throughput efficiency and longitevity. It also operates on the 2 lower cores and a lower GPU range use the lower 2 GBs much as possible plus a secondary single SD 1 GB swap.
In the fast lane all six upper cores are in gear the 2 GB eco ram is cached and their is a fixed 3 GB swap cached so with some compression and some caching management it will work roughly the equivalent to a 16gb system and the CPU does compression quite well for efficient arm working.
The arm chip being energy efficient and small could do up to 4GHz and use the case to cool. It could focus the the heat effort more to the effort of codec acceleration processors without heating on more unecceserary processes and places and the 10 GB ram should have eco standard and turbo mode.
Upto 12 tflops low precision calculations and 1.2 tflops 32 bit.
Basically like the new Nintendo with better upscaling at the cost of more watts. Unreal engine 5 can be adapted to such a platform with the right range of compression and reductions.
That's what a reasonable 5nm ARM mini PC could achieve at 1.2 and with gate all around you could be taking upto 4.8 GHz cooler and 8Tflops 32 bit and 94 tflop low calc.
With optical acceleration a few more years later you could be talking 0.5 + peta flops low calc. At that rate you can do a lot more touching up beyond standard upscaling.
Go five years after this and full optical processing could be more mainstream and 700 tflop 32 bit and 12 peta flop low calc pin chips could be in systems. Games will be so powerful even on mini systems size will be less important.

Something you might plug into a raspberry pi and cloud

Permanent Linkby highdimensionman on Sat Jul 16, 2022 12:17 am

A USB powered LCD writing pad. Where you draw your rough sketch or 3, and download them to the touch screen pc which you can also talk to and touch AI generated options which as a prompt engineer is the sort of interface you would need I'm looking into making my way into such a role. Communicating with AI ever better year on year count me in. I have a lot to discuss and eventually learn to explore mathematically with the AI.
