with holographic upscaling holographic channel need only 800Kb to 1.2Mbit per channel.
so you could have all the hd channels and 4k channels and Radio in 1 40 Mbit band.
Then you could have 44 holographic channels on another band.
and on the other 3 bands you could have 1000 40 - 68Kb SD TV service channels for local community derived content..
So no internet and you have 40 odd Holographic channels Premium
50 odd 4K channels high
150 odd HD channels medium
1000 SD community content channels low
and 150 radio stations.
So yes that's a 1000 channels (24,000 hours of content each day, 8.7 million hours per year all vetted for public viewing) of youtube videos so to speak where content creators can get some attention and the ad revenu goes to the rest of the public tv interests.
Youtube free sat might get there one day with something like 20-100 40mb bands equalling 10's of thousands of youtube channels and at least 30 million hours of youtube like content each year. Enough for 20 million stars around the earth with no need for an internet connection to watch just if you want to upload.
oddly enough if you can get sd that low adequately but upscaler intensive then youtubes joke about being on tapes wouldn't be a joke.
If we say the average youtube video is about 200MB 4.5 mins long and you could get this down to 3MB and lets say there are 20 billion videos on youtube(60 PB, Otherwise 4 exabytes or half a million £2000 8TB ssds) and lets say with a perfected digital big tape you could fit 50 TB if they had progressed more with VHS style digital tape format technology. That would be 1200 tapes which a big collector could have.
You could even have a list of all 20 billion shows to search through and the machine picks the video out of the 1200 tapes like a mini auto tape system. I'll bet eric schimt want's this.
