So your man who can divided into two men checks in at his fist node this always has two choices of direction and depending on the values in the mans man bag, a trade is made and a path chosen. Sometimes the decision is that the man can take both path choices to the next trading nodes.
eventually the man leaves the travel leading to a bottom node where he makes his final trade.
each man is like a worker bee and each trader is like small business.
One goal could be for the worker bees to be assisted by the shop keepers to find the optimal end points.
another thing is this kind of network varies with timing when working with multiple paths at once so such a network might have interesting adaptive properties that are more natural like. One day it might even develop a sense of time.
traders can decide to change a path to another node and is able to turn an end node into a trader node.
