If It Were Me

Permanent Linkby Havoctoria on Sun Feb 09, 2014 12:55 am

"You laugh now but it wouldn't be funny if it happened to you!"

Yes, it would be funny. It just probably wouldn't amuse ME. I laugh at people's suffering even when I've experienced firsthand what they went through.

If I laugh at someone's misery, it doesn't mean I lack experience or empathy. It means I found it funny. As an individual, OF COURSE I'm gonna relate to the experience differently when it happens to someone else than if it happens to me. Btw I think I mentioned before that I'm a sadist. Indulging in another's pain the way I do requires an abundance of empathy. I know how the person feels. I understand it. I'm capable of experience those emotions (perhaps not under the same circumstances as them because again; individual) & can usually recognize them in another person. Though not always because there's nothing EVERYONE feels/reacts the same way about.

I exploit my own empathy for my own pleasure. Just like you do you when you make your friends laugh. About things that are, y'know, FUNNY TO THEM.

I Hate My Neighbors

Permanent Linkby Havoctoria on Sat Feb 08, 2014 4:22 pm

Dear Neighbors,

I hate you all, & I do not use the word "HATE" lightly. There would be no traffic in this house for hours. Then I'll decide I wanna go to the kitchen & make a meal, & all of a sudden everyone is going in & out of their rooms & crowding up the kitchen & bathroom.

I LIVE here. I don't like having to make myself look presentable before I could prepare a bowl of spaghetti.

To the guy in the room directly next to me: This unspoken rule we have that we are not to leave our rooms at the same time is getting the f*ck on my nerves. You act like crossing paths with me is a frightening, unwanted experience, & I've seen you peaking at me with your bedroom door cracked when I was on my way in & out of the bathroom; your avoidant behavior doesn't exactly make me feel welcome in the public areas of the house. When I'm around normal-acting people, I act normal. Of course I live here, so I'd rather y'all just didn't live here at all. I need my own place, because I hate neighbors. Including you guys.

The Most Important Thing

Permanent Linkby Havoctoria on Thu Feb 06, 2014 3:39 am

Next time someone tells you there's "more to life" than love, or something/someone that you love...

Say, "There's more to life than oxygen, too."

What Loss?

Permanent Linkby Havoctoria on Mon Feb 03, 2014 2:06 am

I hate when people try to comfort their friends after being dumped by saying, "Oh well. It's her/his loss."

Um. No.

First of all, no human being is more valuable than another. So if it's a loss for one, it's got to be a loss for the other.

Second of all, it's not really a loss. It's a break-up. It's what happens when the compatibility (or lack of) or feelings (or lack of) between two people just isn't what it takes to keep them together anymore.

The person didn't "lose". Dumping your ass isn't something they're gonna wake up in a box 30 years from now, regretting, while you're being worshipped head-to-toe by your new, perfect husband. It's something they are already over. Which is why he/she broke up with you, stupid. & they're already doing better without you. Which is why he/she hasn't begged for you back yet, & why you're at home, feeding your starved ego with flattery.

I think it's pathetic to have to believe the quality of your ex's life has decreased without you in order to cope with breaking up.

"It's not hard to take care of your teeth"

Permanent Linkby Havoctoria on Mon Jan 27, 2014 2:17 am

No sh!t you f**king asshole, but APPARENTLY it IS hard to imagine that others may want to treat their bodies differently from how you treat yours.

I'm a coprophile. I eat sh!t sometimes. You don't eat sh!t? Why? It's not hard?

It's called a Personal Choice. & you let ME decide which ones are best for ME, k? K. Just because I don't want to do it doesn't mean I find it difficult. What a simple-minded conclusion to draw. Aren't people with CERTAIN mental illnesses suppose to be MORE intelligent than the average dick? Goes to show how useless stereotypes are...

Btw, if I want my teeth to rot out of my head, then what I'm doing now IS taking care of them! Don't assume what "taking care of" my teeth means until I know what my goal for them are.

Ugh.

Idiots.

Get over yourself.
