Perfection is Subjective

Permanent Linkby Havoctoria on Mon Oct 21, 2013 1:44 pm

To say that nothing/no one/no life is perfect is saying that the definition(s) of "Perfect" that you're using is the only one. Nothing can be objectively perfect & nothing can be objectively imperfect. Like Beauty, the only thing objective about Perfection is its spelling. Nothing/no one is inherently flawed because what some consider "flaws" could be positive traits to others. Some people consider it perfect to be "flawed". I just really wish people would drop their rigid definitions of "perfection", & stop trying to make themselves feel better about being unable to achieve it by saying that NOBODY/NOTHING else lives up to any OTHER standard of Perfection.

So allein will ich nicht sein
Ich such dich unter jedem Stein
Ich schlaf mit einem Messer ein
Wo bist du? Wo bist du?
