Edit added by salted lipstick: Rain has asked for people instead to be directed to the new, helpful and more organized version of the thread about this topic here: dissociative-identity/topic100829.html
Lately, there have been many new posts about people wondering the same thing- is what I am experiencing possibly DID/DDNOS or not?
Because of this, instead of answering on each individual thread, I have decided to create this thread in the hopes of answering all questions in "one fell swoop", as one might say.
Below, I have put the links to two very helpful and informative websites on DID and DDNOS. My advice would be to read them, and if things such as symptoms or explanations resonate with you, I would start looking into DID/DDNOS as a possibility for you.

http://www.dissociative-identity-disorder.org/
Other suggestions that I have include looking around this site on other threads for a bit, and seeing if anything resonates with you. Below, I have listed threads that might be helpful in doing this. (I will admit, most, if not all, of these are posts that we, ourselves, have either made or replied to because it is quicker and simpler to search our topics than to search through the hundreds of pages of the entire site. It is not meant as an "ego thing", so please do not take it that way).
--This one describes a "typical" day for some of us with DID, including internal/"in our head" conversations: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic96635.html
--This one is about peoples' "timelines" in discovering their alters and realizing they have DID (be advised, this may possibly be slightly triggering, as there is talk about pasts and mentions of memories): http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic94601.html
--This one asks what it was like when people first realized they had alters and/or DID (be advised, possibly triggering): http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic99442.html
--This one deals with a user who was wondering if they had DID or something else, and others that are wondering the same thing might find this very helpful (be advised, possibly triggering): http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic98598.html
--This one discusses blacking out/"losing time", and how some of us do not black out or have much amnesia (be advised, possibly triggering): http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic97504.html
--This one discusses "emotional amnesia": http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic95922.html
--This one discusses how one knows they're the "host", which is the main person "out" in control of the body, and usually the one who is unaware they have DID until later in life: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic97968.html
--This one talks about hearing your alters and what that can be like: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic97632.html
--This one discusses different times/situations of personality switches/alter switches: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic98641.html
--This discussed what co-consciousness between host/alters and/or alters/alters is, and what co-hosting between host/alters and/or alters/alters is: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic99350.html
--This one discusses alters and different hand writings: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic97748.html
--This one discusses alters and their different ages, as well as different aging processes: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic97811.html
--This one discusses alters and their different appearances: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic98184.html
--This one discusses alters and creations of their own pasts, (even despite knowing the reality of the past of the body they share): http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic99634.html
--This one discusses your name(s) to other people in your life: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic92782.html
--This is one of our own, and discusses ourselves and what purposes we have/what roles we play in our host's, Cassandra's, life (be advised, possibly triggering): http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic76544.html
These last two deal with denial about having DID, as it is very common for people with DID to find it hard to accept and believe. They are two of our own, and show just how strong denial can be, despite having accepted the truth/facts at points in your life:
--This one is possibly triggering, but has positive feedback, and is not as triggering as the other thread: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic98729.html
--This one is triggering, and I advise you to read with caution, though it may be helpful to you. It deals with arguing, anger, and strong denial: http://www.psychforums.com/dissociative-identity/topic97494.html
**A note: Please realize that the threads that have the "be advised, possibly triggering" typed next to them, are not necessarily triggering. The warning is not a strong trigger warning, but parts of the thread could be triggering to some, and so I found it appropriate to warn everyone so that they may be prepared for anything that may be triggering. Most, and hopefully all, of the posts I have included have stronger trigger warnings for the parts that need them.**
I hope this is helpful to all who are wondering if they have DID/DDNOS, and I wish you all the best of luck in your discovery journey. Please remember, no one on this site can truly diagnose you, only a professional may do that, so please do not hesitate to seek out a diagnosis if you are able to (though be careful in who you choose to get a diagnosis from. Those not familiar with dissociative disorders can sometimes misdiagnose people, or even not believe them at all).
