News of Eating Disorders

I have been a bulimic for about 10 years. Recently, I have been having a hard time breathing. My throat feels tight, which I assume is from the acid, but I also am having touble taking deep breaths. You know the feeling you get just before you yawn? That's the feeling I have almost constantly. Has anyone experienced this?

I have been dealing with this question for a long time, I have no idea how to tell my family that I'm bulimic.

I have a feeling already that they suspect something, but I can't just assume, i have to know.

I just need to know that its something i can do, I'm just afraid of my parents responce.

What can i do, my husband has been stuffing his face then visiting the loo to vomit for about 2yrs now, i have asked him a few times but each time he tries to make me feel really stupid and denies he has a problem, what can i do, plese help

My good friend at school has been showing many signs lately of an eating disorder. Not eating, comparing herself to others, constantly talking about food and body types, and losing weight. I have known her for less then a year but I am pretty sure she has a eating disorder. Me and another good friend plan to talk to her, is that the right thing to do?

.. why is there no EDNOS forum? i think that a lot of people would benefit from having one. i know i would, because i don't like to post on either the anorexia or the bulimia forum.. i don't feel i qualify for either disorder so i'm at a loss to know where to direct my posts.

He eats more then a normal amount of food on a daily basis but now he is starting to eat without anyone knowing. He closes the doors to the kitchen and eats, and goes to the bathroom and locks the doors to eat. He is 13 by the way. Maybe he is just a growing boy.
