I'm just curious about this. If you've been dx'ed as DID, how did you come to realise that there were insiders within you? Was it from time loss, or from seeing things written or done by alters, for example, or was it a mixture of things? And how long did it take for you to face that what you saw was not always necessarily what 'you' had done, which meant accepting that there were ...

Well, here's where I stand right now. Frank's not answering written letters. He's not answering txt's. And I'm having trouble staying up. Tonight, that changes. On my desk, pretty much right in front of me, is enough Red Bull to keep me wired for a week. If Frank doesn't want to come to me, then I will go to him. Rock'n'roll, baby :twisted: .

I really need some advice on this. I'm not sure if this is DID, but I've been told that I've done things, and I can't remember doing them. For instance, I went to live with my mom for awhile and apparently every night (she worked the nightshift), I'd get up and watch TV with her, and drink tea and we'd talk for about an hour, or two. I didn't find out until after this happened ...

I am just curious, does anyone have in their mind anything like a house or castle where each of the alters has a space?

I started to go to a therapist to get rid of sociophobia and there i've discovered some kind of duality in my personality. I have like two points of view on everything: one is rational, cold-hearted the other irrational, compassionate, like feminine. For example if murderers should be killed instantly (they've murdered, that's enough to stigmatize them) or have help from a psychatrist to became a better person. Both came out of me. I don't ...

I JUST STARTED TO WORK ON INTEGERATING. MY "T" SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING. HE GOT THROUGH SOME OF MY ALTERS DEFENSES BETTER THAN I CAN.( KIND OF SCAREY!) I HOPE IT WORKS. MY "PARTS" ARE SO DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER, I DON'T SEE HOW IT COULD HAPPEN.

SOME OF YOU TALKED ABOUT ALTERS JOINING NATURALLY IN TIME. I CAN'T LIVE WITH THE WAY THINGS ARE NOW. I KNOW I'M PROBRABLY WANTING TOO ...

Whats the difference?

And a few questions...

1. Alters -> Can they be social with some people... and not others? and can they sometimes be social with people... and then BAM become very unsocial with the same people?
2. Muscle spasms -> I want to call this partial seizures.. because thats what it seems like... like they just went into an uncontrolled state that last 1-3 seconds... like they have been shocked.

Unfortunately, the only group support seems to be from within :lol: Not that I am complaining...it's nice to have friends within. :lol:
