Is this DID?

Postby Tsukiko » Sun Apr 23, 2006 10:55 pm

I really need some advice on this. I'm not sure if this is DID, but I've been told that I've done things, and I can't remember doing them. For instance, I went to live with my mom for awhile and apparently every night (she worked the nightshift), I'd get up and watch TV with her, and drink tea and we'd talk for about an hour, or two. I didn't find out until after this happened three nights in a row and she brought the conversation up during the day. I can't remember doing that, I can't remember anything about that. I told her to make sure that I was awake next time, and she told me she did. The next day she told me that she had made sure that I was awake, but I still couldn't remember. I also can't remember anything from when I when 10 and under, just some things I can remember.

I also have gotten lost in my school, and I've been going there for three years. I got lost in my own locker row. I've also had people comment on how my personality changes, all the time.

I seem to have this happen more often after I've gone to sleep, because I seem to wake up and I can't remember anything I've done the next day and no it's not sleep walking. I also have many other symptoms, but my post is already too long. I scored 78 out of 100 on the DES test. Sorry if my post is confusing.

Yeah, you're about as ###$ up as the rest of us . If it really bothers you, go to a therapist, or try to communicate with your alter. Maybe have some friends interrigate the alter, possibly get a name or something. Anyways, good luck.

HI TSUKIKO,

YA I AGREE IT DOES SOUND LIKE YOU'VE GOT D.I.D. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW FOR SURE YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE DIAGNOSED BY A PROFESSIONAL. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS YOU PROBLABY
SOULD GET IT CHECKED OUT. IT MIGHT KEEP YOU FROM DEVELOPING WORSE PROBLEMS THAT OFTEN GO WITH D.I.D.

GOOD LUCK, LET US KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT,
BENNY

I don't think the original poster's account exists anymore from the fact this is from 2006 and you can't click on their username.
