Self excluded me, but it still hurts. Cant tell anyone, need the money,dont know how to make it back.

I was surprised by the low number of posts here although the online gambling has been legalized in the bigger part of the US for more than 2-3 years (I believe). I expected a surge in gambling addiction of epic proportions and consequently, an increased number of members on this forum. But it has been the contrary. The posts and the content on this forum has decreased.

I am 42 years old and gambling for almost 12 years now. this week, I lost around 25K dollars. I just don't know how to stop. Want to write a lot but i am feeling so sad that I cannot think of anything.

I have gambled since the day it was legal when I turned 18 (uk). I’m now 32 and it’s just got progressively worse. So instead i am pondering why my mind and my will can be so strong but in the past has been so weak, after a half hour googling here is what i found.

I have been trying to many strategies to cope with gambling, and to analyze games in sports, taking advantage of live bets, changes in the lines, over under etc. - I think I've reached a point where I see it's really not taking me anywhere. I can't really make anything substantial out of it.

Although thank god and I'm really thankful for not hitting rock bottom or getting into debt - still, just for example ...
