Welcome to the forum PG,
Self-exclusion is a great step in setting up barriers between you and gambling. It is what I recommend to everyone that has troubles with gambling. As to how to make it back, think of it as a bad investment that lost money. That money is gone and we should work hard to earn it back. What you essentially lost is time.
One thing you should try to avoid is thinking that gambling is the solution to getting it back. I have thought that for years and it only lead to larger and larger debt. Hundreds turned into thousands, which turned into tens of thousands which turned into hundreds of thousands (thank goodness it didn't get into the millions...)
Take it one day at a time and after a few weeks, you will see that your financial situation will be much better

Great job PG!
That first week can be REALLY difficult! I know that it is easy to say, but very hard to do, but take it one day at a time. Those days will become weeks of gamble free time and you will find the thoughts to be less frequent. Try to occupy your time with healthier activities, such as exercise, reading, going out with friends and it will help reduce those cravings to gamble.
We are all rooting for you on this forum!

Are you looking to get help for your addiction? If so, you have to want it bad enough and work on yourself to be able to do it. Nothing changes if nothing changes.

Still thinking about the money and ways to make it back, but gambling is not one of them.
