Borderline and lonely

Hi, This is my first post. I have suffered with BPD for many years but over the last year its been worse. I have had a few "episodes" that has resulted in the loss of friendship and family members. I guess people just don't want to put up with me being depressed and suicidal. I have started to feel better but now I have no friends and no family and I feel like I don't ...

Does anyone else here feel like a bad person?

Hi to all...

Is it common for people with BPD to feel like a bad person? When I'm in a bad place I pretty much always find myself thinking that I must be a bad person to get so consumed by my own emotions and become so submursed in my own feelings that at times I feel almost paralised by them. In fact, I've literally convinced myself that I actually AM a bad person and ...

Does anyone here live in suffolk/ Norfolk England?

Hi to all...
I live in Suffolk, England and have been recently diagnosed with BPD. I've heard that the most effective therapy for the condition is DBT but from the reasearh I've done so far, it would seem that this is not available in my area. Does anyone know if this is the case or not?

"No one can fix you." *trigger*

Maybe no trigger. Just to be safe.
Just came home from therapy and I could really use a good vent.
I also could use a good yell-out at my therapist.
I'm SO MAD AT HER.
Who the heck does this?

------
So, I'm nervous before therapy because last week was great, so great that I was almost floating on air the rest of the weekend. That was superb, considering I had to face work starting ...

question about 'lack of identity'

Hello all,

Can somebody tell me more about this aspect of BPD if possible? As it forms a major part and important component of the diagnostic criteria etc
Maybe some personal insights and perspectives if possible?

I think it has made me realise something crucial that I had not realised (or rather not fully, rationalised or fully acknowledged) before.

This may not make much sense but...
Have any of you ever acquired (or found it ...

A personal issue on Citalopram

Citalopram has done wonders for levelling my moods a bit and making sure I don't sink rapidly into any kind of depression or obsessive thinking. Side effects were bad for the first week and then abated, apart from one...

I have a feeling that if I didn't have the numbing effect of the drugs I would feel far more upset about this:

The doctor tells me that because ...
