There are parts of this site I try to avoid because my participation would be troublesome for everyone involved including me. The NPD forum is one of those places, but not because of the NPDers. I stay out of BPD because of the BPDers. Too emotional for me. I get annoyed. I rarely visit the DID forum 'cause the stuff I read there has made me to switch before. Paraphilias? Don't get me started. Why I try to avoid the NPD forum:
1- It PISSES ME OFF that the NPDers there only go so far to defend themselves, though after reading a post by a user there, I think I understand why.
2- ALL of the "nons" demonstrate WAY more narcissistic traits than any of the narcissists do. & They ALL project like Motherf--kers. ALL of them.
3- Any attempt on my part to support or defend NPDers is attacked by a "non" in a way that doesn't hurt ME at all, but I fear secretly causes pain to any "narc" who may have had a chance to be uplifted by my words only to be attacked (through me) by a "non".

They've help-proofed that place. :/
