-WHAT IF, NO ONE WANTS A CURE TO MENTAL ILLNESS ETC.-?-

Permanent Linkby KINDNESSTHERAPY on Mon May 21, 2012 2:28 am

What if no one wants a cure to Mental Illness or Cancer or Diabetes or Mental Disabilities or Physical Disabilities or -Suicide- (Active & Passive) etc. etc. etc....

This would explain why I have failed to convince anybody in the world, because everybody seems to be happy with their situations for whatever reasons. Now this is not out of frustration or venting or anything, because I want to go on tour and sell the idea that we the taxpayers can save -Billions- of taxpayers money because all these treatments are not necessary. Nobody and I mean nobody wants a cure and I have filing cabinets full of documented evidence to prove this statement.

Now let's see if anybody can -Help- me bring attention to this waste of taxpayers money, where should I start, any ideas? Since this is a rather novel idea please be nice with the suggestions, thank you....

I've brought this up with my mum who is a psychiatrist and very supportive mother and am doing everything I can to solidify in her enlightenment around the psychiatry and her position is coming around to the truthful perspective. She has heard my personal experiences over and over and read this blog and I've spoken to her about her patients etc and am going with her to an open day of some sort this weekend etc, I am doing everything I can to try to influence meangingful change in the psychiatric system anyway I can atm. I'm not sure what else I can do either other than that. As someone who's been through it, there is stigma attatched to my standpoint if I were to come out about it outside of my close friends and family or even to try to influence change personally in general outside of my mum. I'm sure she has some power personal to her patients and tribunals and in conferences and guest speaking etc to fight for what is right and bring things like this up and so on.
