Sometimes it is hard to know where the line is between what is spiritual and what is a symptom. Very 'sane' people talk about astral phenomena, out-of-body experiences, and near-death-experiences. Is struggling with a sense of identity something that can go along with schizophrenia?

Has anyone here ever started to take on the voice/mannerisms/characteristics/interests of another person?

I am asking because I have done this compulsively since preschool. I wonder if anyone can relate. Or if anyone has any thoughts on why this occurs.
