I saw that people explained what I was feeling as a possible sign of epilepsy. I have never actually had sezuires, by sezuires I mean like convulsing on the ground. Are there different types of sezuires I could be expierencing. Also I have notice chronic headaches. They are little shocks though and constant. I have gotten used to them, but my lower back head hurts after each episode. I have no idea and any help ...

my 15 yr old brother has been diagnosed w/ a psychotic disorder and placed on Risperdal

its been 2wks and his condition has seems to be getting worse. from the minute he wakes up untill he falls asleep he is constantly agitated, yelling, grunting, hitting himself in the head, he says he hears voices and he displays repetitive behavior.

i'm just at my wits end and am just wondering if this is "normal" for what ...

Does anyone know anything about this drug (how it works and so on?)

Does anyone take it? Has anyone taken it in teh past?

It's been suggested that I come off my present meds (nasty side-effects mean I won't take it ny more) and onto amisulpiride instead.

My Dad is in his 50's and has been exhibiting signs of schizophrenic behavior for several years now, i.e. hearing voices, seeing things, believing aliens are contacting him, the government is after him.
Things have recently escalated to where he is verbally attacking family member who don't believe. He carries a gun whereever he goes and recently shot up his own house.

He was admitted to a psych ward for 72 hours about a month ...
