Hey, I was wondering if anyone here knew an answer to this question: Can a doctor/shrink or whoever (in the UK) have you involuntarilly hospitalizsed if you have schizophrenia or if you are diagnosed with schizophrenia?

I did have another topic, but it's pretty old and doesn;t have these other symptoms i forgot to list.

I was on 5 mg of risperdal a day and 80 mg of citalopram and I quit cold turkey about three days ago. I feel like I am poisoned or something, I have a headache that pulsates every once in a while in my temples and I feel like I have the chills like when you have the flu. Its nothing terribly bad but it still bothers me some. I hope this $#%^ goes away ...

i have recently been switched to 400mg seroqual and it doesnt seem to be working. I know it has a short life span but i have to be careful because i get tired easily and it effects my whole life, uni and the people that surround me.

I recently came to a revelation about hearing voices for the last 5 years. I'm not someone who likes to say, "only if" so I never say

I hope to get answers from others who's got sz and major depression or on medications of Lexapro and Risperdal which I'm on them. I'm on Lexapro 10 mg and Risperdal 2 mg. I went to see pscyhiatrist today to get more prescription. I forgot to mention blinking eyes to them. Arghhh. I wonder if any one of you have symptoms of blinking eyes constantly. It irritates me. Is it physical symptom of shizophrenia??? ...

Just a thought...but I am able to will my grand mal seizures away sometimes. If I really focus, I can make the hallucination stop and sometimes stop from having a full on tonic-clonic seizure. If the hallucination wins and I don't will it away, I always have a big seizure. I kind of wonder if the same thing is possible in SZ?

And when I am trying to stop it, I often tell people around ...
