My own psyciatrist refuses to see me.

I've only seen him a few times but STILL. I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone with BPD what it feels like to have your DOCTOR refuse to see you. The coward didn't have the courtesy to tell me himself, he just canceled the appointment when he saw me on the books and had his secretary call me to tell me "He feels that it isn't working between the two of you." I took ...

The Tao of borderline

I'm probably going to insult Taoism here, basically Taoism says, "stay in tune with the natural way of the world. It included health and happiness. Do what you're designed to do rather than forcing the unnatural."

For a warm, caring, nurturing person, it might go against her grain, it might effect her happiness in a bad way, if she did what her parents wanted and became a lawyer like her dad. Maybe she's never happy ...

A bit worried...a couple of things

Hi guys,

I was wondering if this was a common problem, or something I should speak to my therapist about.

Does anyone else seem to lose periods of time in their memory? I was trying to find some paperwork last night (the official report from my diagnosis) and I almsot turned my room upside down and it's just not there. I know it was there when I moved in last October, and I'm super organised ...

Anxiety before going anywhere.

Every single day I wake up with horrible anxiety. Sometimes I have a full blown panic attack. I get nervous to go to my fiance's house (his parents house) and there's really no reason for that. I feel like I need to get out of my house asap and get to his just so the anxiety can stop. If I know I'm going out somewhere in the afternoon (a store, a friend's house, food shopping, ...

Hello :)

hello. :)

I was recently in a relationship with someone who was diagnosed with BPD (I don't particularly care for the term "non" as it divides it into an us v. them scenario). I have recovered from the relationship and fully accept my ex's disorder for what it is. The whole experience was fairly shocking to me. I had never heard of PDs before this relationship and ...

I am attached to my BPD

I was diagnosed 4 months ago. (after being misdiagnosed several times, they like picked up one symptom of BPD i showed, and made a diagnosis based on it, now after having papers from doctors with different opinions, they've put it all together and I was finally diagnosed properly)
Now I am attached to my BPD
I am a fan of BPD, haha, how bizarre! (and I feel like all the people with BPD are like ...

realisation VS excuse

Newly diagnosed but I've still have been been living with this for many years so want to ask the following:

I get the feeling from reading a lot of the posts that "we" are over analyzing this "condition" everyday, trying to find an answer, trying to find an excuse for our actions...

Why is it that we can't just accept the condition and deal with it!? Yeah blunt I know, but maybe, kinda a question ...

Any BPD Jokes?

One of my most effective (and often, only) coping methods is humor. My fiance came across http://fyeahmooddisordermoose.tumblr.com and while it just started today, I'll definitely be looking forward to more submission.

Anyone know any good BPD jokes?
