My brother and I were raised in the same environment, though treated very differently. We were set up to undermine each other as kid but that dynamic has not carried forward into adulthood. We both landed on our feet although we turned out quite different -- not only different from each other, but perhaps the opposite of what one might have predicted when we were children. He's got some idiosyncrasies that impact how he functions in life but I don't think he meets the dx criteria for a disorder.
If you have a sibling, how similar or different are you?

I think my brother is disordered, but he’s the type who will never see it no matter how many people tell him let alone ever actually try and do something about it. He’s a little more social but he’s a train wreck when it comes to money and finances.

No siblings here. Half of my uncles and aunts are disordered though, which I think count a bit as I was mainly risen by my grandparents

I think there’s some nature as well as nurture going on. My brother was the golden child growing up - big time. As an adult he’s done better than me in the marriage department (I ended my marriage), which I think suggests he’s less disordered. I did better than him in the career / prosperity department. Interestingly he lacks the confidence and people skills to survive the corporate world. I lack the intimacy skills to survive a marriage. Too bad we’re not one person. We’d be awesome
