Some of the following are debatable -You- decide if they are funny, the intention is to provoke humor and laughter which really helps people with mental illness fight depression etc.. What is sad and yet funny in a perverted sort of way is that it looks like people with mental illness are not interested in finding a cure to their mental health problems maybe they like to wallow in self pity etc..
Past posts have numbers 1 to 23, these will give -You- an everyday program of continuous kindness that -You- should be interested in or maybe nobody cares?
24. Put coins in the -Parking Meters- right before the ticket writer gets to them and you will have a huge belly laugh.
25. Give a -Free- pack of cigarettes to a homeless person that smokes and you will see a smile on their face.
26. Give a cheap bottle of wine to a homeless person and keep them warm all over.
27. Give a lottery ticket to a stranger or a homeless person and if you want to see a really big smile and hope give them a weeks worth of lottery tickets.
28. Send lottery tickets to a group of military personal overseas and you might even start a light hearted correspondence.
29. When you go to the supermarket leave extra coupons on the shelves so that the next person can use them.
30. Put something you no longer need on crag's list for -Free- so that somebody else can use the item or items.
31. Buy a chocolate cake from your supermarket and bring it to a lonely senior citizen, you can get a list of people from your local church or senior citizen club.
32. Drop a few coins in a play area or playground where children play and they can easily find them and do this on different days at the same playground.
33. Write or type or E Mail letters of appreciation to groups in your area that are helping the community and send a copy to your local politician in your area.
34. Help an elderly neighbor carry out the garbage to the curb and have a light conversation and make sure they are O.K..
35. Talk with a homeless person near a shelter and try to have a normal light hearted conversation and buy them a cup of coffee.
36. Ask a local police officer or a local minister if they know of anybody that could use some help and talk to them about what level of help you are comfortable doing for them.
37. Smile a lot to do small things that will help other people like hold the door for somebody or anything that will bring a smile to everybody's face.
38. Watch cartoons or light stress free TV programs or light educational programs like national geographic etc.. Do not watch news programs that are depressing, try setting up -TVIO- etc. and taping only stress free programs.
39. Smile as much as possible all day long and people will respond positively to you.
40. Listen to light music during the day and all night long to dull the voices in your head.
You get the idea which is to use as many positive ideas all day long and these continuous acts of kindness will replace the negative ideas of mental illness...Maybe what I said in the beginning is true that -You- actually like your life with mental illness???
