Friends?

My son, Trevor, has IED and is 12 years old. Since an incident with another child none of the mothers want their kids hanging out with mine. Our psychologist says this is degressing Trevor's progress and its making it worse for all of us at home. Any suggestions for Trevor or myself?

searching for an answer, or a pathway

I stumbled across this forum while looking for information on anger. I've been with my husband almost 3 years now, and for 2 of those years I've lived in fear of his outbursts.

He has told me that once it is in his head that he is going to hit someone (or whatever), ...

But now it's different. At first I thought I had just gotten into the habit of lying. And thought like any Habit thru careful thought I could stop it. Well things got pretty crazy for a while ...

Compulsive Lying

Here is some information about compulsive lying that I thought people may find helpful:

Compulsive Lying: Overview
There are a number of reasons that people lie. The first is fear. This is the most common reason that people may lie, and they are taking shelter from a perceived punishment. It may be because they know they have done something wrong a single time, in which case it is not compulsive lying. But if they are ...
