Codependent recovery and family during the Holidays

My mother has been with her current boyfriend for over 15 years. These 15 years have been nothing but hell for us all. This man whom she is with is an abusive alcoholic. He is a hypocritical arrogant jerk, who contributes nothing, and just takes and takes from my mother.

Hi there,

I have women I know who really value my friendship. Some even tell me that they love me.
I am comfortable talking to nearly everyone.

Yet, at home, my wife and my oldest son (he's 20) ...
