News of Cyclothymia

My first decent Pdoc (I fired the real 1st) diagnosed me with cyclothymia. Due to insurance, I had to change pdocs, so my new hesitantly said I was bipolar 2. I researched, and I think I have cyclothymia, but I have no reason to argue. Now, I want to change Pdocs, but I cannot (despite paying a lot of insurance money) - I know there is no big deal. Both are milder blah blah...

So ...

My pdoc diagnosed me as suffering from Cyclothymia but my new doctor is wishy washy on this and inferred that I might be bp 2. Now, it really makes no difference but - well it should not but still. I tried to get a new pdoc but my insurance won't let me (after the horrendous amount we pay)... what am I to do (nothing?)

Does anybody else here have "cyclothymia" and OCD together? It's a very hard thing to deal with as I don't know what on earth is going on at times...I get days of hellish obsessions, periods of depression and no obsessions..it's all inter related. I'm on Lithium and feeling a bit fed up by period.

Hi. I have Cyclothymia. I also refuse to take the Paxil that the doc prescribed me.

I had interrupted sleep for the past 2 days. Also, 3 days ago I had a social situation that made me drink 4 beers.

As a result, the 'monster' came out. I'm no longer the funny, optimistic person that I was a week ago.
