Congratulations Sconced !

How was your cake ? I hope it tasted like pride and freedom .

Cake or no cake , you deserve to feel both of those things . This is one of the hardest addictions to overcome and to deny its hold over you for this long is no small feat . It will get easier with every gamble-free day . Stay strong and stay on your guard - we'll be waiting to celebrate Day 600 with you !

I would have been eating the cake 10 days early as I made a mistake the last day in posting!!! I was 490 days gambling free and not 500 days. Anyway no cake yet but I’m feeling happier in general now and treat myself a lot more.I am seeing meaningful savings too and feeling much more positive about the future. 508 days gambling free and this time it’s correct!!! Thanks for your continued support here and everyone else that posts here too and the watchers who are beginning this gambling free journey or on this journey. It’s a tough addiction to break but it can be done. You have to find out a way that works for you, be it ticking a box with the dates on it, looking at your anti gambling notes, or reading horror stories about gambling, watching videos on the damage gambling causes in a persons life etc.
