I hate Hypochondriasis!

I have not been diagnosed with hypochondriasis but damned if it doesn't describe every day of my life. (I always thought it was kinda funny to say "I think I'm a hypochondriac!")

Anyways. GOD hypochondria sucks. I have done brain cancer, throat cancer, etc. I have induced vomit because I thought something inside me was "stuck and needed to get out". I've done OCD and delusional disorder.

Hypochondriasis is hardly the sanest thing to have, ...

I'm fed up of this!

For 2 and a half months I've feared having malignant melanoma, as I have a mole on the back of my neck! I first started fearing it when I saw something about skin cancer on the news, over the summer, since then every little thing I've felt on my neck has had my breakdown in fear and anger, any little sensation in my neck! I've researched symptoms myself, none of which I realise I've actually ...

Death of family member / loved one?

I've always felt that my hypochondria has it's roots in the death of my mother (who died when I was 10).

I remember accompanying her to the doctor when I was very young, I remember the many drugs in the cabinet and the urine samples in the refrigerator, and I painfully remember, to this day, the look in her eye when I last saw her. It was in an emergency room, when the doctors had ...
