Perhaps someone familiar with creating Fictitious illnesses can comment with an opinion on my daughters illnesses. I know she cannot be diagnosed here but any insights would be appreciated. I don't have Munchausen but I wanted to let all you good folks know that Dr.Phil is doing a show on it tomorrow. So that's October 8th, Tuesday. I know a lot of people don't like him ect. I am just trying to get the word out there. I know I like to be alerted if there is a show or article on my disorder (schizophrenia).

I'd like to have your opinion on something. Something i find quite paradoxical; the idea of going to counselling services because of an annoying munchausen-like thinking/attention craving.
I find it paradoxical because obviously : 1.you don't want to get "healed" because you would loose the attention, 2. you would feel like coming and say "hi, i want attention so badly, so i came! now i have it, thanks! what's next?"
