News of Dissociative Disorders

Hello,
Could anyone please tell me what is the difference between D.I.D. and schizophrenia? I do not have insurance and would like to self-educate myself on both and try and figure out if I may have one or the other.

I saw a therapist once and a psychologist, a long time ago. The therapist just seemed to sit there and say "wow" over and over and nod her head, but not give me any advice ...

So my T has given me a list of numbers to call and ask around to see if there is a DID group therapy anywhere near me.
I am excited and a little scared.
She also said that I may get to have a few sessions with another DID therapist and that we migt get some supervised help from another DID specialist.
She is really wonderful...

Hi I don't want to embarrass myself by writing this but I sometimes i enjoy depersonalising. I depersonalise when I get extremely stressed or depressed. I also have Bipolar so it usually happens when I shift from high to low really fast. When it happens I find it actually quite nice. It feels a bit like being drunk. Everything feels really numb and I go into a bit of a trance.
