new to the forum, need advice

HI all.
It is so good to have a forum like this.
My wife has jelous type DD. She is immigrant.
Many situations from many posts describe and just mirror my experiences.
I suddenly discover that I am not alone and it warmed my heart a little.
Seems there are 2 types of affected by DD:
those who realize they are sick/in definite minority/ and those who don`t and they refuse any treatment..
My wife ...

Diagnosed with somatic type dd, but i dont have it?

Hi ive just found this forum and it, or the ple in here could seriously help me. Ive recently well about 4 mths ago found out after applying for my medical records that i was labelled with delusional parasitosis, this label was put on my records in 1997. I have a infection Hpv, which they said i could not pass to others at work etc. I suffer with hives, which my g.p says il never ...

delusional events at work

how do you deal with delusional episodes at work as a result of stress and social isolation. I am off sick at the moment, my boss passed my case to HR as "no normal" sickness. I fear that they give me my notice and as well the stigmatising when coming back. Anyone with experience in that regard? :?:

Irritated

So, I know living with a moderate DD should be a piece of cake (in comparison to one in "bad times") but boy, I find that living with one in a relatively good state is still a real pain in the rear. Does anyone else ever just want to gripe, even if their situation really isn't all "that bad"?

It bugs me. There hasn't been a flare-up in the house for quite a few years, ...

More extended family mess...

As the subject says...

Well, things did quiet down somewhat since my husband's involuntary hospital stay in late June. Still unmedicated and with lousy insight into the reality of his memories and interpretations, but he is definitely behaving in more pragmatic manner. He did have couple of flare-ups, most of them triggered by some event such as medical appointment or his family's attempts to contact him (the latter having pretty much the same effect as ...

DD Jealousy Breakthrough!!

Been a while since I posted - things have been up and down around here. First, my fiancee got married (not to me) within 2 months of breaking up with me! As it turns out, he then experienced the same problem with that woman looking at other men. However, that was a turning point for him...at first, he did think she was a flirtatious wanton woman, but then he really started to take a look ...

Issues with mother.

For the past few months my mother has been going through some serious issues.

It started with my mother's accusations that my father was cheating, and she claimed to know every single person he would cheat with and point them out randomly on the street.

Now it's more of a persecutory type, I guess. For the past few months she's been thinking that her phone is tapped, and had her mother 'dispose' of it. (It ...

New here

Every since I was little my mom has had a tendency to fly into rages, be suicidal, and over-react to anything she perceived as a wrong aimed at her. She has very low self-esteem, no social interaction at all, and a family history of verbal and mental abuse. When I was growing up the worst of it would be the rages and suicidal threats. Slamming doors, grabbing knives, throwing things..an exaggerated kids tantrum when things ...

Delusional Disorder by a neighbor?????

What can I do?
I have an unemployed neighbor (3 years) who is absolutely convinced that I'm a "spy".
He has camera's facing every angle from his home.
He has called in false reports about me from the police to the FBI that I have his house and property "bugged", stole his mail, broke into his computer, know his passwords, know his bank pin number, knew what he "dreamt about".
One of the neighbors who ...
