I don't hate them in general. Besides my boyfriend, I have two close friends. Hello I am diagnosed with AvPD but I think the meds I have are pretty useless.

I take propranolol to stop adrenaline when I'm around others and risperdal which helps calm my thoughts to a small extent.

I'm looking for something for my doctor to prescribe me which will help me feel extremely relaxed around other people.
It is not something I would be taking very regularly, just maybe once every month or two.. going ...

Yesterday I drove my friend to the state police barracks so he could turn him self in. I believe the mandatory minimum sentence for armed robbery is 3-5 years in pennsylvania so I won't be seeing him for quite some time. It might be possible he can get his sentence cut by snitching on the person who sold the drugs that killed a guy we went to highschool with, but said person is pretty dangerous. ...

I've posted a few times before, each time a long essay post, but I figure it's really not that useful and the extra elaboration tended to distract from my main question. So I really have one basic question:

How do I seek treatment if I'm too scared to do so because of AvPD?
