It is good you made some progress with that dream, if they were insiders. It would not surprise me if they are your alters harassing you in your dreams. It seems anything is possible with DID.

Does your insurance give any reasons against your therapist? That is strange that they up an wouldn't pay her, but insurance has been a boatload of headaches for me in the past. (For me, the issue now is they won't approve a drug I need ...)

As for problems always occurring and never letting up, it happens that way to everyone, I think. Don't know if that comforts you in any way, but my mom really just said to me about our broken toilet, "It's always something!" Well, it is. At least we can think of ourselves as all being in this together. ♡

It is strange (you would think they would've sent us a letter or something), but no. They just said (when contacted) that they no longer will cover going there. This T was covered under our insurance for over 10 appointments. No problem at all then. Now all of a sudden it is a problem. We had no warning at all.

Like I said, our insurance didn't send us a letter or anything saying they will no longer cover the appointments. We had to hear from our T that they weren't paying all of a sudden. We had a different problem with this insurance before as well. Totally different issues, but they never sent us any kind of letter back then either (No warning then either). :(

We're sorry too, to hear about your problem with insurance. We hope that'll get straightened out for all of you soon.

Trying to distract ourselves with "Outer World" activities, BUT so far not working very well. Inner world chaos is still ongoing, BUT it did ease a tad (since the protectors caught some of them).

We are super worried about the issues with not being able to go to our T. As of right now, that is a MAJOR issue for A LOT of us. I would say all, but a few just don't seem to care about it at all, period.

Just feeling overwhelmed and sad right now. We were hoping to draw some of us, but so far they just want me to draw. They say I'm good at it, but I don't think I'm very good. I don't know. I'm working on trying to map our system a little. In hopes, that maybe drawing and mapping would maybe, in some way, help us.

I don't know though.

We still don't have the problem with our T straightened out yet. It seems we are going to miss yet another appointment because of this. So sad. Feeling discouraged. :(

_______________
On another note: I have no clue if this is going to turn out good or bad.

A large number of insiders woke up all of a sudden. They didn't wake up by choice either. They got woken up suddenly (by another insider). They were in some kind of deep sleep. Some for MANY years. From what I heard, from one of the insiders, some were there for over 15 years. While the least longest, as far as I know, was about a year or two.

I don't know. The protectors were shocked by this sudden happening. None of us really know what to expect as of yet. Plus the really strange thing is, no one knows where all of them went. The protectors seem baffled by that, which is really unusual.

How could they all just "vanish"? Unless of course, they have no clue where they are going, and are roaming around somewhere. If so though, they haven't been found yet. Or maybe they went to a totally different area, that we don't know about. I have no clue. None of us seem to. Weird.

What you just described sounds so familiar to me! Alters "waking up" after decades of "sleep". Alters disappearing to unknown parts of the inner-world. I just want to validate and say that what is happening is normal. Hope you find them.

We are NOT doing good at all as of right now. We are very sad. Apparently we no longer will be able to go to this T, unless things change, which doesn't appear likely. IT WASN'T EVEN OUR FAULT that billing changed (to not cover our T). :(

So in that case, we now (probably) don't have any T (without warning). We don't even have a clue where we will go, if billing doesn't change their mind.

We had an extremely hard time finding this one. There are no other ones (that either take our insurance, or meet our needs) nearby. Plus even if we would make a compromise, it'll probably be months (or even longer) to even get an appointment.

We are very discouraged right now. A lot of us are so badly upset that they feel like "Forget even trying to find another one. We'll just "wing it". (Basically just go without one for who knows how long.)

None of us want to start all over from the beginning yet again. Plus it is very hard for us to even trust a T. This T was the only one we felt the safest around. So miserably sad right now. :(

We don't know what to do.

Sometimes you can appeal to an insurance company for an exception, if that T is the only one with the qualifications you need. So one option is to try that.

Also, is it at all possible to pay out of pocket? Some Ts have a sliding scale—you can ask about that. Even if you wouldn’t be able to go once a week, maybe you could see them every two weeks.

I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Sending moral support your way. It sounds like an awful situation. It is very very much unfair.

I agree with theGangsAllHere. If those don't work, could you try another insurance company? Each company I've seen has a "provider finder" that let's you see who they will cover in a given area. If your T is in anyone else's list, maybe look into that company. Of course, changing insurance is a big headache in itself, so I'd use that as a last resort only.
