I've read this many times thinking "oh, I'm gonna let it pass". But now for like 5th time reading, I'm gonna say it: I think this is so sexist!

Ha well yes it was very sexist. She wasn't even upset that I got a ticket and actually seemed surprised since she says I'm a grandpa driver. She got pulled over as well so she couldn't get mad. She has tools (her looks) that can get her out of a ticket. I do not. However for my work I have talked to the younger nurses while visiting certain hospitals and gotten free food and drinks and even a blanket and pillow when I had to stay the night with a client once. So we all have to do what we have to do lol. Anyway, yeah it's sexist and unfair, but what can you do? It seems to be something I am dealing with a lot lately. And I'm only a grandpa driver when I am in a slow car, usually hers.

Mind you, we're only imagining, but we can picture you interacting with strangers/clients/business acquaintances fairly easily, and them feeling at ease with you in return.
Feel free to let us know if we're way off-base. It won't be the first time.

Bored, bored, bored.
I was wondering if I am a workaholic. I've decided I'm not. I work because of the inner emptiness and would happily not work if something more fun came along.
Diagnosed DID with a few other states.

Depends on who they are dealing with at the time. However you would be correct because usually at work I am more outgoing and can talk easily with people. Tyler can take credit for the nurses situation though.

I work because I have mouths to feed and bills to pay. lol And I would love to not work to do something more fun.

Shawtrav - yeah, so do I but I meant the extra stuff I do over weekends and on annual breaks. I send myself nuts trying not to work, finding I feel better if I do. I wish I were paid by the hour. I'd be rich!

We're kind of designed for pressure and chaos so work makes our system work better. It's not always good for us but it gives us a center you know?

For us it 's Allegra. She's really the only one who's good at stuff like that, and the only one who wants to do it. We have endless arguments about adolescence (and adolescents) being incompatible with maturity and responsibility. We may never resolve this argument.

I'd like to be able to take more naps.
