I'm finally admitting my problem!

I have been a compulsive liar for nearly my entire life. It started when I was younger as a way to get out of being in trouble, then it moved on to looking cooler at school, eventually it became habitual. I am 30 years old now and I just ruined a relationship with an amazing, and beautiful girl due to my lying. She had caught me in lies before and I promised I would stop. ...

I'm a liar and I need serious help.

I am a liar. I am shameful of it but I don't know how to stop. It may have just cost meverything and I pray to god that I have not....I wouldn't blame him for condemning me instead of forgiving me. I know it's not right and I know, eventually, that I'm going to reap what I've sewn..but I still can't stop. The irony of this is that I don't know if anyone will believe ...

New tricks that are really helping!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share some things that have kept me pull free for a couple of days, and hopefully indefinitely.

Secondly, keeping a kneaded eraser around gives me something to do with ...

I am pulling too much today.

I have Emetophobia and something has triggered it, and now I am terrified and not having a good day.
I am pulling out my hair, a response to the scared / paranoia that I am dealing with today. :(

I was doing good, until today, and now I am getting a new bald patch in the front. I can't shave it because we are about to go ...

Male suffers of Trich

Hi, my name's John. I'm seventeen years old and I've been pulling out my hair for the past 8 or so years now. In the past I've pulled out the hair on my head, my eyelashes and my eyebrows. I managed to stop for a few months completely, but it has now come back just in time for my exams... I guess stress plays a big role in triggering it. As most of you can ...

new member

Hi, I am a new member here. This is the second forum I have joined recently in trying to get a grip on my destructive behaviour. I don't want to lie to my wife anymore, and fear losing her and my daughter. If I can overcome this, then we will have a great marriage. Any advice or tips on how to keep yourself being honest I would truly appreciate it. Thanks you all, and Good ...
