so I was talking to a friend and making comments about my cat's peculiar behavior and he remarked that she might be BPD. And I was like, eureka! And my other cat is schizoid and my rabbit has schizophrenia. Anyone else? It could be fun....

Ok so I'm raging, I'm pissed off :- someone's hurt my feelings and treated me like a piece of poop on their shoe and I'm livid furious and angry.

Last night, I used this energy to clean my house top to bottom. Now they're likely to walk in, I need to calm down. Otherwise well all hell is going to break loose.

let me begin by saying i haven’t been officially diagnosed, i don’t know if i have bpd or that i have so many things in common with people who have been diagnosed with it. but thats not why am here right now. i am here becasue i want to know if what i am going through is normal or not..

May'be a random question, but when I argue or go BPD mode, I end up sleeping.
Like if me and my boyfriend fight and I go "nuts" I just end up exhausted and saying "I can't carry on I need to sleep" and end up seeping for a few hours.

On a normal day I need to sleep for 12 hours and will even need a nap sometimes? May'be I'm just overworking my brain... Or ...

Recently I have noticed whenever I have a bpd moment. And things get out of control. I find myself feeling suicidal but the minute an authority figure speaks to me police, nurse, doctor, I snap out of it and I don't know why. I still feel a bit sad but not so suicidal. Intimidated and scared, feeling I have to act a certain way for them to help me

I'm always getting accused of this. Anyone else have this happen as well? I don't get it. I really don't ask anyone for anything or expect anything so why do they expect anything from me? Aside from my parents and maybe 2 other people..I have no one I'm close to. I'll hear people say #######4 like "family is supposed to help family." WHY? Is anyone in dbt and how do you like it? I start Tuesday and I'm very nervous.

How do you deal with rejection? This can be either romantically or just friendship-wise, or rejection of any kind.

For me, it's very hard to let it go. I always need to know why, and if I feel that the answer is unfair, I'll keep asking why. I know it only pushes people away, so I wonder how you guys deal with it.

So today is day one where I feel fantastically exuberant and hopeful and excited about life again. But in the back of my mind I'm dreading the inevitable? crash... at least, it feels inevitable because I feel like that's the cycle of this disorder -- extreme lows, then extreme highs.

And so I'm wondering, on average, how long do your highs last? I'm worried this is a one-day thing. And I'm also a little worried ...
