These are some of my 'symptoms?' Many of which i have had for years but less strong

I don’t enjoy anything that i used to enjoy. ie hobbies.
I dont feel partof the world. More like ...

I went into a crisis house last month, well because I could choose that or a psychiatric hospital, and well when i was in there I was diagnosed with BPD for the first time.. I always thought i had bipolar but not a personality disorder, so it kind of suprised me.. I also have PTSD and Major depression.. So what do you all think? are they alike?

im new to this forum, and after accidentally stumbling upon a BPD symptoms list, i just found out a few days ago that my boyfriend of 6 years is most probably BPD. Again, im not a doc, but i think i know what im talking about. when u know someone like the back of your hand for 6 years.

The short story:

My younger bro (age 36) moved with me 7 months ago, and after extensive searching, I believe he has NPD.
a) how can I make him seek help?
b) how should I treat him? I'm interested in him "curing", not just to cope with him

Hello I dunno where to start ,I wasn't aware of the disease until last september when I looked it up online and took a test ,I was feeling depressed and hyperactive all my life and I thought that there was something wrong with the people arround me but in fact it was me who is sick .Like I can't manage any kind of feelings cause I get eighter depressed or confident near to delusional . ...

I have made the decision after years of torment to seek help. That scares the crap out of me. I want to know who I should see, what to expect, and what can they do. If they beleive im a danger to myself can they admit me to a mental institute without consent? How suicidal do you have to be? What should I tell them on the first visit? Therapist/psychologist/psychiatrist?

The main thing im scared ...

Has anyone been in recovery a few years? Does it get any better or do you just become a master of pushing thoughts and feelings to the side? Does it simply become bearable? Do you still feel like suicide sometimes? I guess everyone has read that 10% of people with bpd kill themselves. I always think its the people who don't try to recover out of fear or whatever or those that are just starting ...
