Here we are now
Everything's about to change
We face tomorrow as we say goodbye to yesterday
A chapter ending but the stories only just begun
A page is turning for everyone

So I'm moving on
Letting go
Holding on to tomorrow
I've always got the memories while I'm finding out who I'm gonna be
We might be apart but I hope you always know
You'll be with me wherever I go
Wherever I go

So excited I can barely even catch my breath
We have each other to lean on for the road ahead
This happy ending is the start of all our dreams
And I know your heart is with me

So I'm moving on
Letting go
Holding on to tomorrow
I've always got the memories while I'm finding out who I'm gonna be
We might be apart but I hope you always know
You'll be with me wherever I go

Its time to show the world we've got something to say
A song to sing out loud we'll never fade away
I know I'll miss you but we'll meet again someday
We'll never fade away

So I'm moving on
Letting go
Holding on to tomorrow
I've always got the memories while I'm finding out who I'm gonna be
We might be apart but I hope you always know
You'll be with me

So I'm moving on
Letting go
Holding on to tomorrow
I've always got the memories while I'm finding out who I'm gonna be
We might be apart but I hope you always know
You'll be with me wherever I go

Wherever I, wherever I go

And so the fusion has happened.

It feels.. whole.
Both more and less dissonance;
Choosing something simple means not being sure of myself, instead of having both mine and another person's opinion.
It feels beautiful.

Thank you all - I very much appreciate the nice words :)

A fun note:
The fusion started on the 24th and finished on the 25th; a fun note considering emma's birthday (the day she split, when her first memories are from - from when emma and L we're still not split apart) is on the 24th and 25th (right between) of another month.

The last day
L took time to write a long, beautiful letter to her bestest little sister/brother inside who's 3 with pretty stickers, drew a cartoon thing that s/he loves and the SO helped laminate it all. She got to start a 1000 piece puzzle and finished her workbook as she had wanted. Sweetly, she also got her first real kiss  emma got time to say I love you and walked into this calmly with nothing she felt a need to do specifically.

That is beyond beautiful.

What a way you ve travelled with the ups and downs. I admire you for the strenght and wisdom you ve showed.

A practical question: what about Anastacia? Is she still there, or is she united too?
Just so, well, just so Indie knows.

You ve been through quite some changes to say the least.

Congratulations

Thank you for posting all of this, lifelongthing. I think I haven't said anything before, but I am reading and finding it very interesting and moving. I'm so glad it's been such a wonderful experience for you!

It sounds like this was something that both emma and L were ready for then when it happened. I am glad to hear that it went so well for you guys. Congrats!
