One thing that sucks about law school, is everyone thinks they're Jesus. About 30% of the people there are literally just studying law for the prestige and money, they don't really care too much about justice. So my story is in the mock court room.
Once every few weeks, a few students can volunteer to go into the mock court room to act out a trial to help us with what it will really be like. I was acting as a defence barrister in the tax fraud case we were acting. When I sat down after giving evidence for my client the prosecuting barrister got up, and walked out of the room. We were all confused and stopped acting out our roles of course to find out why he just did that. I said I'll ask him, so I jogged to him, put my hand on his shoulder and asked "hey are you okay?". He looked at me like I didn't deserve to be talking to him about his feelings. He replied "yeah, I'm good. I guess I'm just tired of acting out mock trials with idiots who don't know how to do their role properly. Do you know how long I've worked and how many better grades I get than you? Yeah, that's because I'm not terrible at my aspired profession." He then speed walked away from me.
I didn't think I was doing that badly, I asked others and they said I wasn't acting too professional but I was okay. Well, it was a weird experience, I haven't spoken to him since and considering how big the campus is I probably wont see him again.
