Needless to say.... I'm not feeling too chipper. This is my second blog entry, and it's been a little hectic since I last posted.
I saw the doctor last Monday, and I got back on the Depo Provera birth control shot.. there are 2 options when getting it: once a month, or once every three months. Seeing that I NEVER have a reliable ride, I opted for every 3 months. I've heard depo increases your hormones and may cause additional extreme mood swings in bipolar women.
....."MAY?!?!"
I've been like a PMSing B*tch from Hell and I've cut off almost everyone that I associate with on in my personal life. The only person that I can bear to talk to for a few minutes is my mom, and she's 600+ miles away in Alabama.
I've been crying a lot.. for no reason at all, and I've been restless and worrying a lot about nothing.
My mom told me about a vitamin called Same which is supposed to help with mood swings and depression.
As far as physical side effects... I've been having those too.. My face is breaking out some, my muscles feel sore ans stiff, and I've been getting tension headaches, or something of the sort, in my neck and back of my head.
I've had migraines almost my whole life, but these headaches aren't as bad. They make the back of my neck and my head really hot, and that's when hot flashes come on.
I've been trying to contact the doctor's office since Wednesday to try to get a hold of someone, but no luck. All I get is a machine that tells me to press 1 for Directions, 2 for Office Hours, and 3 for the Attendant or whatever.. And whenever I press 3 it rings a few times then it goes right back to the main menu.
Hopefully I'll get through the next few days without snapping on anybody or damaging any more relationships/friendships I have.
