I came here because I naively thought that the forum would be populated predominantly by people with my condition and I was interested in how their lives were playing out.

I stay now because I find some of the discussions interesting.

The "hook" response pertained to the money, as a means of getting the money - nothing to do with your anatomy. Also it was made in jest admittedly, Gloves did not really intend to steal your money - neither from your purse, nor from your anus. The only possible threat that could be read into it was stealing your money. Don't know where the ladybits came into it.

Still i don't get how he was threatening, all he wrote was "I'll bring my hook". For fishing out the money. Cramming the hook through your genitalia would be rather counterproductive in retrieving the money from the vaginal cavity. I think you misinterpreted the target of his joke's intent - it was the money, not your ladybits.
Retrieving objects from abdominal cavities is usually done by surgical tools such as trongs, hooks etc., without inflicting damage to the organ. Just ask any A&E gynecologist or surgeon who has to deal routinely with the removal of masturbatory items (usually foodstuff) from vaginæ. (The vast majority of the patients are females, with the odd male shoving a small toy-car or such up their arse on a dare - but those are very few & far-in-between.)

Don't forget we're on the internet, on an anonymous forum. "That guy" in real life might be the most philanthropic surgeon working for Red Cross and just messing about on a public forum in his spare time, or it could be a Marshie alt, or a yyyyy alt, for all what we know.
I don't know who "that guy" was/is, i was going by the immediate context of the 'hoop'/'hook' exchange (same as Obsi) as quoted above, and the resulting misinterpretation / speculation.
