For boy lovers

It strikes me, that any description of orientation can only include I like males or I like females. It also strikes me that any physical sensations one might get from sex are as easily obtained from a boyish 18 yr old as they are a 13 yr old.

So my question is why boys? What is it you can get from someone under 18 that you could not get from someone over that age? What emotional needs are being met? What are the psychological drivers towards underage boys vs simple homoerotic acts?

There are 2 major variables to sexual pleasure: the physical sensation and the desire for a physical body/object. The latter will involve an appreciation of how the body looks and the desire to touch it even if this touching doesn't involve any sexual stimulation on oneself.

Just like how touching something gross might not be gross until you know what it is, even if it cannot effect your health (like learning a tasty food is a repugnant animal).

It's common knowledge that many people have this conceptual affinity for people of the opposite sex but not the same (heterosexuality).

Similarly some people are pedophiles, hebephiles etc.

It has nothing to do with the physical activity you can potentially do since some heterosexual men enjoy being sodomized and supposedly anal sex is done more by straight couples than gay (in terms of percentage).

The same applies to our age orientation.

In my opinion it is pretty simple. Most pedophiles probably have a deep-seated low self-esteem and deeply entrenched emotional problems. Young boys are less threatening. Somehow our sub-conscious takes preference to the young boys because on a sub-conscious level, we feel inadequate to our peers and fear a real relationship.

I think what I want to get at is pedersaty, as distinct from paedophilia. From what I have seen, witnessed, experienced and observed this past 20 + years, it occurs to me pederasty might have its own phenomenology. Gay men are in mass denial about this.

One only has to look at the widespread worship of the "twink" and twink porn to note this falls well within the boundaries of pederasty, and that anyone who is aroused by that, yet claims they would not be aroused at the site of a nude 14 is more than likely a liar. Examples supporting this are the famous twink porn star known as mike18, who has the physical appearance of a 14 yr old swimmer, and the famous porn film "scare collage" by cadinot, which though used over 18's chose boyish ones, placed them in schoolboy clothing, and enacted a story of a catholic boarding school and implied adult on boy sex.

Further evidence comes from setting my grindr app to display 18s only. Some are clearly not 18 (I dare not attempt to confirm this, for obvious reasons), but 3 profiles could well be under 16. Most common they are passive, with thier age range set to 30. A couple of 18 yr olds specify "for younger", and it would shock straight conservatives to learn of the no of 18 yr olds (and possibly younger) who advertise for "daddy".

This takes me back to my cottaging (cruising for sex in public toilets) days, where, quite distinct from any child abuse, grooming or obvious paedophilia, boys found thier way to sexual activity with men, and men with boys. I recall an awful lot of wedding rings on the men I went with.

Lumping everything into a catch all term does nothing to adress the issue, underlying causes, or suggest how to deal with it. From a homosexual perspective, it ought to be as sexually satisfying to sleep with a 19 yr old rent boy (yes they still exist) as it would a 14 yr old.

So "why boys?" is the question. But I pose this question to homosexual hebaphiles rather than paedophiles.

It's their little bodies. Their thin, small arms and legs. Their small hands and feet. Their soft, high voices. The lack of hair. Smooth skin. Small features. I find the thought of below 11 and above 15 disgusting. Saying so has gotten me thinking. I've read on here that these attractions could be the result of repressed homosexuality. Is it possible that I am in denial of an attraction to adults males and this age range allows me to express some form of that as at least a minor emotional release without fully accepting my own homosexuality? Or is it like what has been suggested already and it is because this age range poses less of an emotional threat? I'm a nervous person and I'm not very confident with attractive women but I prefer a more mature conversation and attitude. I am definitely non-exclusive but I don't fully understand the extent of this side of my attraction so I don't know if my post is of any help at all.

There was a study which revealed some molesters of boys to be repressed homosexuals yes.

Well that's just great I was going to talk about the emotional threat side more but I realise that just sounds like more denial

That a thing is true of some people, doesn't automatically follow it is true of you

I'm not disgusted by my attractions but the thought of one year over my 'limit' of 15 disgusts me. What does that say in terms of repression?
