What should I think about it?

He is sharing his hurt with me now, how I hurt him. If I don't react right he is very disappointed. He wants me to feel guilty again and again for how I treated him. I do feel sorry for what he suffered but i refuse to feel guilty. my trauma is past, ...

The Film "Damage" - Juliette Binoche and Jeremy Irons

Dear all:
I believe the film "Damage" with the gorgeous Juliette Binoche and elegant Jeremy Irons illustrates very well HPD and the "Femme Fatale" so to speak. So to all those trying to make sense of the none-sense, I recommend renting or buying this film urgently....you shall understand.

I saw the film originally in the early 90's, and it was on TV last night. I understand better what I lived through, and would be surprised ...

OCD without the C?

So it's been brought to my attention recently that I'm EXTREMELY obsessive. I do have some OCD tendencies... like I have to line the bottom of doors with something (towels, shirts...etc), and I have to position my mouse a certain way before I leave...etc. Though, here recently I've started to notice that I become INSANELY obsessed with things- anything... like guitars, playing pool, headphones, computers, botany, and even smaller things like small notebooks (moleskine ftw). ...

We involuntarily hospitalized my brother about 4 months ago and he has been on risperdal since.

He has been staying with us for last 3 months and everyday he scolds us for taking him to hospital saying we ruined his life. He is also suffering major depression

recently he has started saying something which kind of worries me. He says "Somebody else would have killed all 3 of you for what you have done to ...

How old were you when you discovered you had aspergers?

How old were you when you discovered you had aspergers?

I was 21.

It was the beginning of this year that I found out. I knew for sure that I had aspergers when I read about stereotypical movements (AKA, 'stims') in a medical book on pervasive developmental disorders. After reading about 'stims', I thought "holy $#%^, that is what I have".

I initially had a diagnosis of social anxiety disorder, but I knew that there ...

I had a male HPD friend...it was the rollercoaster from hell

First off I would like to thank everyone on this forum for sharing their stories. It's good to know that I'm not the only one out there who has been left confused and angry by an HPD.

So about 2 years ago I met a charming HPD at college. He seemed a little "odd" right away but in a cute way. He made me laugh and we had a lot in common. We have hooked ...

This is a BIG one

Hey guys, I just got back from my girlfriends house. We've known each other for about 2 months now, and I went to her house. I have a lot of self doubt issues and self esteem problems. I constantly think I have mental disorders and change my mind all the time about myself. Its been a long time since I've felt a connecteness with other human beings and been able to really be happy. Anyways, ...
