I've interviewed 2 HPD females. I asked about their relationships with men.

Lady A told me she "strings guys along" deliberately because it is fun and she likes to "play games with men's minds because I can." She told me that while she was with one guy, she "acted just like what he's ever wanted in a woman - - me!"

After lurking around this forum for a while I have noticed that some are fustrated with the fact that they are having a difficult time holding down a job, relationship, etc. I am no expert but I have a successful career have owned my own companies and have found a fantastic wife, (frightened 3 previous wives away first though).

Does anyone have a fear of opening up to others because of the uncomfortable feeling of being exposed and revealed?

I isolate myself because it's what makes me feel comfortable. Yet sometimes I desire friendship; although I know I wouldn't be able to live up to the social expectations. On top of that, I have trouble connecting with people.
