problem with vaginal intercourse

Postby confused03 » Mon Apr 02, 2007 5:21 pm

Hello,

I met a guy and we love each other but we have a problem with vaginal intercourse. He has no problem to come during oral sex with some hand stimulation but when he penetrates he looses erection in less than 5 minutes... though he managed to come during vaginal intercourse one time...he says that he doesn't feel strong enough, not enough stimulation in right spots...he also doesn't feel my muscle contractions when I come...
I have been in other relationships before and never had any problem with intercourse...He is 37 (10 years older than me)and I am his first sexual partner. He has never been in any relationship because he is a very shy guy. He is circumcised. He is a healthy man and takes no medication.
I am very confused about the whole situation and I would like to understand the roots of this problem...maybe someone is familiar with it and can help us to understand what is wrong...

Actually this is a very common problem. But, I don't know if it has a name, and I've had a hard time researching it on the internet, because I don't really know what to look for. I have it too.

This happens because intercourse does not match the sensations produced by a specific style/grip of masturbation. You don't mention if you use condoms or not, but that could also be an issue (condoms can decrease sensitivity).

The most practical "fix" is this: Prior to penetration, the guy masturbates a little to get "closer" to the orgasmic point, and then he inserts his penis to make the final thrusts which are guaranteed to result in an orgasm. Gradually, he has to do more and more work by thrusting, and less with masturbating.

To maximize the chance of success, he should abstain from masturbation for 3-4 days. Also he should apply a lubricant to the penis (such as AstroGlide or "ID"), even if he uses a condom, to make the gliding easier. Lubrication increases sensitivity.
