Salute of the Day (Snarky Vent Thread)

To the people who think we should act certain ways and show more social awareness and grace.

Their graces don't stop them from being insensitive to me, it just means I don't say things they don't like. It does nothing for me. They think I should learn to chat lightly, I think they should learn to think critically and stop box-caring their thoughts. (thinking this works this way and that works that way and the laws of physics are some how not common between them. Or anything like that.)

It is not arrogant to want to be able to talk to someone who knows things and can think complexly. Unless it is also arrogant for them to think that we should be how they want us so they are comfortable, and don't strain their brain.

Here's to finding our own friends who are smart and stuff!!!

To this guy who though I would be interested by a night with him...

M girlfriend and I were sat in the outside part of a restaurant, finishing our meal, then a guy we never see before came and ask if he could sit next to us. We were uncomfortable, but he doesn't seems mean or drunk, so why not ? the restaurant was full and he was there only for a coffee.
Then he started to ask if we're brother and sister (my girlfriend have really short hair and can look like a teenage boy sometimes), then if we're sisters or cousins. We told him he was wrong, we're in couple, then he started to ask : "what don't you like men ?"
I answered "Because I'm simply not interested in men." and he start to say he don't understand, ask if we even try with one, then I ask him "And if I ask you why don't you like men ?". His face was priceless, but it was the only funny things. The next question was : "how did you do... you know ? do you use objects ?"
I was in "what the f*cking hell man !" mode, it was the first time someone dare to ask this to us. Then he look at me and ask "can I touch you arm like this ?" and did it without letting me answer.
Everybody inside was shocked. Hopefully, my girlfriend make him stop and make him understand that if he try again to touch me, she'll be violent. The guy begin to appologize, but Daem was almost out, totaly furious, and he made us leave.

on a Saturday night back in my college days..... I had a sort of similarly rude encounter with a guy who assumed he could be a prick because my hair was short. I blew him off. later he came over and asked if I wanted to go to the pizza slice place with him and his buddy. I laughed and said no.

then his buddy comes over....kind of indignant....how come you won't come get a slice with us? it's just a slice? we are nice guys....

so I ask did your buddy tell you what he said to me? that he wanted to know if I liked cock or what?

and dude like flips! he gets all mad and starts talking to himself about how his friend is such an asshole and ruins everything!! and then they get in a wrestling fight with each other! and the bouncer kicks them out!!! it was really great!!!

I really wish your story could have a funny satisfying ending.

what that guy did was really wrong and I can't believe he touched you! but I do bet that he will eventually have a bad night pulling that $#%^.

despite being a bit built we don't present too butch so guys like that would make plays for my wife. She knows she likes me because I am male, but not an @sshole. She would put them off and I would be proud that she is secure enough and strong enough not to play to their real man $#%^.

But if a seemingly middle aged American comes over the next time and smacks the guy and then kisses him (none of us like guys but we know it is kriptonite to these sort of @-holes,) it's She & Dog and we are visiting France!!!!

Unfortunately it is not being male or female, they only seem to respect similar guys because what they really respect is their right to property. They see people as things to probe for weakness so they can take what they want. They are taught that is being a man. They don't respect men more they just think they are harder to take things from. Many guys are taught for sports and business that that is a good thing to exploit others weaknesses and take from them. How do we stop rape harassment and violent assault if we keep teaching them that that sort of behaviour is laudable?!?!

The one thing that she loves with the meds we are on is that we put 10+ kilo's of muscle on the body in the last year. The body is 20cm and 50kg more than she is. So those sort give us more space. She gets pissed when little girls think she should carry things, open doors and such without acknowledging her, whom they think of as a he. Three walked on either side of her the other day, and knocked an italian ice out of her hand then chased her down!! for getting the ice on one of them. They were little chubby brunettes and all she can do is giggle at them and think that I would find them hot and that she wished she were a girl cause she would slap the sh!t out of them. They thought they were being all strong and standing up for themselves to a guy, which she found kind of cute. Which made it easier. Glad I didn't have to deal with it.

There is a movie called the fall of western civilisation III, in it a bunch of homeless punk kids are shown and interviewed, most are asked what they want out of life, given their seemingly hopeless situation it is an interesting question.

The basic answer they all gave in one form or another was.

"What do I want out of life? I wish people would stop hurting me"

I would add, "And acknowledge and accept my existence as I do yours."

BeccaBee: Nice that the one guy stood up for himself and guys by beating up his friend. We hate seeing the news and "white men are still backing trump" or "fratboy jocks humiliate the USA at Olympics" or what ever stupid thing they are doing that day. We have enough problems looking like this without them making us look like @ssholes. Don't mind being a freak, but resent being seen as one of them.

We are going to a bar next week, going as moral support for She, and are worried like TillyB about how we are going to be seen based on our body. But this seems to be a good time to try. With the work done by the Trans community to be accepted it may be possible for people to see us as legitimate. I hope so. I am going to leave it to She to come out, both on being Gay and being Plural. I am just there to support not interfere. Funny I just found/figured that out by typing it!!

Off to pick up scripts and see if there is any one out on the street to say hi to.

Today's salute goes to the security fidiot at the supermarket, who insisted he/they didn't have our debit card even though a guy from customer service called us and left a message saying that we'd left it there.

While we're at it, two fingers to today's customer service person, who insisted that the card was in the security office without checking the customer service area thoroughly. F*ck both of you.

And while we're at it, f*ck the original guy who found the card and called, for not leaving the card with security or leaving a note telling the morning customer service staff to do so.

And finally, double-f*ck the system for having loopholes like a security office that closes at 7pm.
