My adult sister mirrors everyone who she seems to "idolize"..and it DRIVES ME NUTS..Why??IDK...it just seems so odd for an adult..A WOMAN..to be copying what others do..Is it cuz of her HPD..BPD..NPD??She has mirrored since childhood.When I was younger I thought it was maybe becuase she had noidentity and was trying to fit in,or accomodate people.IYEARRRSS later I have realize this was not the case.I guess their is no identity there.She has mirrored simple things like haircuts/clothing/speach/foods/cell phones..to more expensive things that she cant and will never be able to afford such as excercise equipment and leasing cars .(which has got her into horrible debt).If people would just find their souls,they would not have the void to look outwards,and would find themselves.Soo many people seem to mirror to the extremes.So much violence seems to come from people mirroring video games..violent movies and shows..violence done by others..even bullying.Just be you.No one else.But I still dont know why her mirroring bothers me so.Maybe cuz it started in childhood and I realized then something was wayyy wrong with her.Maybe cuz we were in a abusive household..Maybe I feel it is a childish trait and adults should know who they are and not copy others.Maybe cuz I realize the severity of her illness,and know it wont go away,that she has caused many troubles throughout life for me..family..friends..and strangers alike.Maybe cuz just..maybe....
